Determine whether a statement may support a Utah defamation claim, what evidence matters, and whether the likely costs make sense.
Consider an attorney demand, a requested correction or retraction, and negotiated resolution when appropriate. A demand does not guarantee removal.
Discuss small claims or district court based on the damages, evidence needed, complexity, and relief sought. Representation is subject to an agreed scope.

Possibly. A false factual statement about you, communicated to others with the legally required fault and resulting harm, may support a claim. Truth, opinion, context, and privileges can affect the outcome. A negative review alone does not establish defamation.
Utah small claims court can hear qualifying money claims up to $20,000, including attorney fees but excluding court costs and interest. It cannot order a post removed or compel an apology. Discovery is unavailable under the ordinary small claims rules, so the evidence you already have matters.
Removal is not guaranteed. A negotiated correction or removal may be possible, but a money judgment and an order restricting speech are different forms of relief. Roger can discuss realistic options after reviewing the facts.
Utah generally has a one-year limitation period for libel and slander. Accrual and publication issues require individual review. Preserve evidence and seek advice promptly; do not assume that a post remaining online restarts the deadline.
Legal costs, proof of damages, collection prospects, and defenses should be evaluated before filing. Utah's public expression protection law can allow early dismissal and an attorney-fee award for qualifying claims. Fees and the scope of services will be discussed before engagement.
